Marie-Bénédicte in her own words
While working as an executive for an American multinational, Mars Company, for twelve years, I often dreamed of one day forming my own company, preferably one that would stem from my long-time interests and competence: planning events or activities around culture, fashion, and gastronomy.
Native Parisian, but having travelled a lot for my work, I realised that we often don’t know our own city very well. We take advantage of a city when we come back for short periods, but when we live there, we believe that we have time to explore it and finally, we never do it! That is why I set up Promenade des Sens®, offering activities enabling Parisians to have a better knowledge of their own city.
I now invite everyone to explore Paris, this great city. We have strolled it up and down for you (what a job!), looked for the most unusual and amazing places, that we are delighted to make you discover. Treasure hunt, customised tours , private |

Emanuela comfortably juggles three different languages and cultures: Italian, French and English. Due to her background (her father was a diplomat) and her university studies, Emanuela has travelled widely, is very broad minded and enjoys an in-depth understanding of different cultures. She has developed strong interpersonal skills, a deep sense of service and great adaptability. An albeit brief introduction to Emanuela!

Our young and dynamic team of freelance staff are all highly qualified guides, lecturers or interpreters speaking a wide range of languages. Over and above their cultural and linguistic expertise (that I admire greatly), they all have a developed sense of customer service and are always responsive to guests' comments and needs. Strolling through Paris has always been a great pleasure for me, and, indeed, I spend a good deal of time enjoying it ... so I know each and every neighbourhood of Paris extremely well and am constantly up to date with new shops or happenings. Of course I read a good deal about Paris and keep abreast with new designers by visiting fashion and design trade shows throughout the year.
It is I that prepare all the itineraries for our different types of events, that chooses the places to visit and that writes the souvenir booklets for the walking tours in Paris or the road books for the treasure hunts in Paris.
Before each event, I brief the team of guides on the itinerary and explain which boutiques or places have been chosen and give them some information on the clients they will be welcoming.
